PASTRY BAKER
(Part-time)
Located in the heart of Garneau, Eleanor & Laurent offers a French culinary experience to its patrons.
Our pastry team is currently looking for a part-time Pastry Baker to join our team in the production and finishing of Parisian styled pastries and artisan breads. The Pastry Baker will be working mid morning to afternoon shifts and possibly afternoon to evening shifts. They will be responsible for providing their own transportation to and from work. Under the guidance of the Pastry Chef, the Pastry Baker will assist in maintaining and meeting Eleanor & Laurent’s qualities and standards.
The qualified candidate is a team player with strong time management skills, is able to multitask, has quick problem solving capabilities, is communicative with high attention to details, has a positive attitude, able to work independently, and adheres to health and safety rules and regulations.
Responsibilities:
· Mise en place, pastry finishing & daily production of French pastries & doughs including but not limited to macarons, laminated doughs, sourdoughs, choux paste, meringues, diplomat creams, mousses, chocolate work and confections.
· Overall kitchen sanitation
· Adhering to health and safety rules and regulations
Job Requirements:
· Food Safe Certification
· Minimum 1 years experience in the pastry field
· Experience in high efficiency production
