Line Cook Position

Located in the heart of Garneau, Eleanor and Laurent & La Petite Iza offers a French culinary experience to its patrons.

Our Culinary team is currently looking for a full time Line Cook who is flexible and adaptable to perform a variety of different job duties including but not limited to prep production to restaurant line cooking production and execution.  This is an opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job experience with full-time employment as well as helping you gain confidence in your skills and knowledge. 
The qualified candidate is a team player with strong time management and leadership skills, quick problem solving capabilities, is communicative with high attention to details, and adheres to health and safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Mise en place & daily production of French food

  • Restaurant service, plated food

  • Overall kitchen sanitation and maintenance

  • Adhering to health and safety rules and regulations

Job Requirements:

  • Journeyman Red Seal Cook is an asset

  • Food Safe Certification

  • Good physical condition (i.e. able to carry and lift 50lbs, walk up and down stairs multiple times per day, etc)

  • Minimum 1 year experience in high efficiency production

  • Early afternoon to evening start time, therefore must provide own transportation
